Although it is the Kingdom of meat, as we were fasting, we decided to go for a quick lunch at the near Lebanese restaurant.
It is nice and quiet although the restaurant is on the main road. It has two separate spaces-one for dining and one for smoking shisha which is a little bit outside but well-heated.
We managed to order a few things which were only for vegetarians-a falafel wrap which became one of my favourite Lebanese dishes, a light salad and steamed rice. The rice was accompanied with three different sauces-chilli, garlic and a special Lebanese sauce. We also had a typical Turkish tea as I requested it-made from fresh mint leaves which is strong and with a noticeable aroma.
We spent about £14 which was quite cheap and the staff was quite polite and kind.
I will definitely go back there for another falafel.
I came here 2 weeks back and I need to say that this place is amazing! they make the naan bread fresh from the oven and the food was delicious and great portion. We are Italian so we love to eat. I do not understand why people give this a low grade? it is not expensive at all for the location and presentation. We will definitely come back again. Well done ladies :)
Great prices for tasty food and friendly service.
